What the heck?

Okay, so once again I sit here typing yet another post about how far I am behind and how much I need to catch up on, are you getting sick of these? because I am!!!! I am so far behind, I have so much to post about, the deer hunt, Halloween parties, sports, activities, awards, etc. Can you see why the thought of posting is so daunting? I need to get caught up so I promise that if you haven't given up on us yet then we will try and get a new post with pictures up this week. Life just gets in the way sometimes doesn't it?:) Check back soon

Flag Football

Okay, so not only is our scheduled jam packed with soccer, basketball, dance, piano, scouts, etc. we now get to add flag football. Brekken started flag football last week and absolutely loves it. This kid lives for sports, any kind, as long as he is playing something. He wants to try anything and everything. He catches on quick and then just tears it up!!! He is so fun to watch! He is on team Flyers. Watch out Peyton Manning!!

Dixie Shooters

Karter started basketball games with his club team Dixie Shooters last week. The first game they had they played so good. They were up the whole game until about the last 5 minutes and then the other team came from behind. I think it had to do with the fact that they had no substitutes and they were a little tired from playing the entire game. This week they had the full team there and they did awesome!!! They won 34-20 and Kart even made some points. He was so proud of himself. He played awesome defense!! It is so fun to see the progress that he has made since last year. He really loves basketball and enjoys learning all he can about it. Good job Kart and keep it up!!!

More Soccer....

Okay, so I admit that I have been a HUGE slacker lately but I have my reasons. I have had a houseful of sick kids, sick husband, and sick me and then repeat the cycle again. Things are finally slowing down and getting back to normal (thankfully). Soccer for the past two weeks has been very enjoyable. Traevn's team is still undefeated and Trae even scored two goals this past week. He was beyond ecstatic!!! Brekken's playing awesome this year and improving on everything. He is such a blast to watch because he has so much natural ability. Peyton is still quite the animal on his team, scoring the majority of their points each week. He is completely fearless!!! Brynlei is coming out of her shell each week and beginning to play harder. Last week she even scored 3 goals all by herself. She was so excited!!! We love watching the kids progress each week. Thanks to our Grandmas and Grandpas who are the best cheerleaders the kids could ask for!! Keep up the good work. This week we have off because of UEA and the deer hunt, which means I might actually be able to get some stuff done around the house:)
