Choir concerts

Karter, Traevn, and Brekken are in their school choir this year. They have been having a lot of recent Christmas performances. They have sang at the Jubilee of Trees, the Dicken's Festival, the Tabernacle, and down at their school a few times. We have enjoyed watching them sing and perform. It has been a busy holiday season and we are enjoying everything about it!!! Good job boys!!!

Okay so life just keeps happening.... Imagine that?!?! We have been incredibly busy the last couple of weeks with Christmas parties, choir concerts, lessons, practices, birthdays, award assemblies, new callings, being with family, getting ready for Christmas, and so much more. We are trying to organize all of our many photos and once that is done we will have some new posts for y'all. I love December and everything about it but I especially love the focus we spend on Christ and about his birth. We are trying to teach our children the importance and real meaning of Christmas. They get it and it touches my heart because sometimes they get it more than even we do. I love my children and the countless things they teach me everyday. I hope that things are well with all of you and your families especially during this special time of year. I promise that we will update with all the craziness of our life soon and possibly even in the next couple of days. So do keep checking back!!:)

Peyton's 5th Birthday
Okay so I admit that I am behind once again. Who knows if I will ever catch up? Anyway Peyton turned 5 on November 12th. He decided to have a Transformer themed birthday this year. His birthday was on a Thursday, so Nate took the day off so that he could spend some time with Peyton. He opened one gift in the morning before his brothers had to go to school, he was excited because it was the guitar that he had been asking for. Then it was a day spent Peyton's way. After getting checked out at Grandpa's office, he picked 5 Guys Burgers and Fries for lunch. After that we took him shopping and then he went and picked out his balloons for his party. When the boys got home from school, Nate took Peyton miniature golfing at Fiesta Fun (Because he wanted to do something with only dad:)) and I took the rest of the crew to the store to let them each pick out a present for Peyton. After we all got back together, Peyton decided he didn't want to eat at the usual Texas Roadhouse and chose Winger's instead. They gave him his very own asphalt pie, which he shared with the whole family. Then we came home and he opened up all the rest of his presents from us and his brothers and sister. We sang to him and ate some yummy Transformer cupcakes. What an eventful day!!

On Friday the 13th, we had the family party. We baked a Transformer cake, which Nate frosted way awesome!!! All of his cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents came and spoiled him even more. He wanted to wear his Bumblebee costume for his party because of course it was a Bumblebee themed party!! He had a blast and scored a ton of loot!! Thanks to everyone who could make it and be a part of Peyton's special day!!

5 things we ♥ about Peyton:
He is very compassionate and very loving.
He has a heart of gold and then some.
He is the family entertainer.
He can put a smile on anyone's face!
He is and always will be my baby boy!!!
We love you sooooo much Peyton!!!
