Karter DID it!!

Yep, that's right Karter made the club basketball team!!!!! After enduring tryouts all last week, Karter will play for the club Dixie Shooters!!! He was so excited!! He has a huge love for basketball and loves to play. We are so proud of him!!! We love you Karter!!!

Basketball Camps

Karter has really enjoyed playing basketball this year so we decided to sign him up for a couple of camps to do this summer.  June 1st-4th he attended the Dixie High Basketball Camp.  He absolutely loved it and would come home each day so excited to tell us what he had done and learned.  He was in there with a couple of his friends from the neighborhood and had such a good time that we decided to put him in Coach Jon Judkins (Dixie State College) Basketball Camp.

So, from June 8th-10th he went there for four hours a day and learned some awesome skills that will hopefully help him to improve his game.  We were so glad that he was able to attend these camps this year.  We can't wait until next year.  Good job buddy!!!

Along with all the excitement from Leia, Karter and Brekken started Jr. NBA basketball on Saturday!  They both play for the CAVS (different teams).  Karter's(#8) game was first, they tied 24-24!  This is his first year playing, and he played so good!  He loves basketball and hopefully he will be able to use his height to his advantage:)  Then we had a break between games, so we decided to pass time at Grandma and Grandpa Abbott's house.  Then it was back to the courts.  Brekken (#5) played two games back to back.  They lost the first one but won the second one!  He played awesome!  They both enjoyed it so much that I can tell this is going to be a fun season!
