Soccer update for 9.27

Soccer Games

Brekken/Traevn:  Started at 9 AM, which was the same time as Peyton's so I was only able to catch the very end of it.  They didn't win, but Nate had to end up coaching both teams playing because the other coach didn't show up..(we should of automatically won due to that, but go figure)  They played really hard and were both disappointed with their loss.  I told them that it's okay to lose as long as you played your best.

Peyton:  I went to his game, and once again.......he dominated!!! He is such a good player, and it's amazing that he knows the stuff he does, especially at his age. (I guess sitting on the sidelines and watching his older brothers' games over the years taught him something:)
His team won!!  Good job Peyter-pie!!

Karter:  He played his game up in Cedar City.  So after the other boys' games we took off to Cedar to play the #1 ranked team in his bracket!  Our boys played their best game yet, but didn't end up winning.  It was fun to travel up there anyway, afterwards we ate at The Pizza Factory.

You boys played awesome!!  We love you!!

I...........

I am.......behind today on my laundry, housework, schooling, etc.... Sometimes Fridays are just like that!!

I'd like to think........that I could handle my trials, but truth is sometimes I just feel like I can't and then somehow I get through one just to have an even harder one come....

I've become..........a little OCD.  I mean I think maybe I have always had a little of it in me, but now sometimes I can't function if some of the simplest things aren't done or aren't in order...crazy I know.  Maybe that's why I feel like I connect to Traevn's condition a little bit better. (When my house is out of order, I get very stressed.)

I think.........that cooking is something that I will never love. (Although, I love to bake!)

I know.......that I want my kids to be happy in the things that they do in this life.

I want........a boob job.  Who wouldn't? especially after 5 kids! (if you would like to contribute to my fund, feel free:))

I have......everything that I will ever need (my health, my kids, my husband, and my gospel)

I like......when Nate takes me out on dates. (it doesn't happen as much as we would like, but when it does, it is so worth it.)

I wish.......that my kids will never have to suffer.

I hate.......when people are negative.  I mean sometimes I vent (who doesn't) but when somebody can't find something/anything to be positive about that's what I don't get!

I miss.........my grandma.

I fear......that life will continue to pass by way too quickly, and that I will take these moments for granted.

I feel......like dancing in the sunset with Nate! (a little cheesy I know, but oh well)

I smell......pumpkin candles....MMMMM yummy!!!

I wonder.......if we will ever be financially independent.

I regret......making stupid mistakes in my past.  I am glad that Nate accepts me & loves me fully for who I am (past & present)

I love.......my family!

I always.....feel like I will never be a good mom!! (or wife for that matter)

I believe....pumpkin bars contain zero calories. (would be nice if it were true)

I am not........confident or outgoing at all, nor do I feel that I will ever be.

I don't always.......tell people how I really feel.

I win.....absolutely nothing!!! I think it is about time that I win something, anything!!

I lose......my keys/cellphone a lot more than I am willing to admit!! (sometimes, I even lose my mind :))

I never.....want to lose my husband or my children.

I listen......to a lot of different types of music.   And to my kids voices. :)

I am scared of.....what my children will face in this world..

I read....lots of books, when I can find the time...(which usually means losing sleep:))

I hope......to reach my goal weight by my birthday. (only two more months:0)

BoBcAt

Last night, Karter received his Bobcat award at his pack meeting.  Karter has really enjoyed scouts since he turned 8!  He looks forward to going to den meeting every week, hanging out with his friends, and learning new stuff.  GOOD JOB Kart on getting your Bobcat badge!!

*Once again the camera was sitting on our laps the whole time until the very end.  The picture of  Traevn is him with one of his best friends Treylin.  They are in the same class at school & think that it is cool that their names sound alike!!  Funny thing is they were sitting behind us and were in deep conversation discussing things and chatting like little girls...:)

one TOUGH kid!!!

On Monday night, my (11-year old) nephew Keaton broke his femur while playing in his football game.   He went into surgery that night, and now will be laid up for a couple of months!  Keaton is the best cousin to my kids, they worship him (and that is understating it, seriously)!!  He is one tough kid!!! We love you Keaton and you are in our thoughts & prayers x 7!!!!

*To give you a little taste of how much my kids LOVE & WORSHIP Keaton here is a little example....
I took Brynlei & Peyton to go visit Keat in the hospital yesterday while the other kids were in school and when we were leaving and getting back in the van, Peyton said he wants to have a hurt leg and be in the hospital like Keat... (only Keat could make something like this look cool:))

LOVE YA KEAT!!

YEE-HAW!!

It was Dixie Roundup time again last week.  We take the kids every year to the Rodeo when it comes to town.   Saturday night was the night that we had tickets this year!!! The kids love the Rodeo and ask all year when it will be here again!!! Well this year we took all 5 kids!! We got there a little early so that we could get our annual hot dogs, nachos, drinks, etc... for some reason all of these taste so much better when you are at the rodeo!!

They love the horses, mutton-busting, and the clowns,  but they especially love the BULLS!! (which of course has to be the last event!)  They lasted pretty good throughout the whole thing (Peyton fell asleep right before the bulls started, so we woke him up to watch it).... Half-way through Jeremy came with Drew, Tollie, and Morgen so that helped to keep the kids busy..

Overall, we love this tradition that we have with the kids... It is especially exciting and fun when you watch it through their eyes!!  Makes all the craziness of it so worth it!!

*Of course we forgot that we had the camera with us until the end!!! (Always happens:))

9.20 Soccer Update

The soccer games started off early on Saturday.....8 AM....

Karter:  His team started off so good.....They played so hard. The thing about his team is that with one/no substitutes the boys' have to play the entire length of the game.  Also, it seems that as soon as the other team scores a couple of goals (even if they are ahead) they become discouraged!! They played really hard, but unfortunately didn't win this week!!  Good game Kart!

Traevn/Brekken:  Their team won 5-0!!  They rocked.   They played hard and it showed!!

Peyton:  He dominated the game once again.   His team won 6-1!!! He scored 5 goals all by himself!!! He is quite an animal on the field!!

GOOD JOB BOYS!!!!

MAC vs PC

Just wondering what those of you prefer....
Two years ago, it took a lot of convincing on Nate's(or should I say Jeremy's) part for me to switch from PC to MAC.  Most of it was I was worried I wouldn't know how to run it as well.   Well we gave it a shot and I have never regretted it..... Since our IMAC was sick and I had to pull out the PC to use I know that I will never go back to PC... I missed having our MAC so much.... Well yesterday our brand new IMAC arrived and I felt as though I was welcoming a long lost friend.  We powered that thing up, got on and it felt like I was home again.  So my question to you is PC or MAC?  Like they say, "Once you go MAC, you never go back" (or something like that:))
*I love the MAC ads that are on TV, enjoy!!
