Brekken was so excited to finally turn 5 years old. He seriously had been counting down since March. His birthday was Friday, July 11th. We had just a little family party with the kids here at the house. We played on the new waterslide, and of course he chose Texas Roadhouse for dinner, (and even got a picture with Andy Armadillo, while riding the wooden saddle.) He was super psyched! Then the next day was the family party. We decided to have it at the Green Springs splashpad/park in Washington. He had lots of fun opening presents, eating Mickey Mouse cupcakes, and playing with his cousins. Sammy the salamander was even kind enough to make an appearance. (Thanks Drew!) Lots of fun was had by all, and the weather even cooperated long enough for the party! Thanks to all who attended and helped make Brekken's day special.
